Did you give ccredit to the original creators?
Have you cut the maps into much smaller bits before making them duel?
cant test it as i dont really use 2k3 anymore

L'architecte,
thanks for the effort as we love to see new maps. But as TKATK said its very important that you get the map's author ok before you post remake. Most of the time the authors will give you the ok. Just trying to give you some advice and thanks again!

ok thank u
I havent contacted yet all the author but I will do it asap (for the moment am busy with my studies, dont have any time to play on ut2003 or to remake some map)
What does my work consist in ?
I cut small bits of (sometimes) huge maps, I added chaos pickups, remade mostly the lighting (to create an insane atmosphere), removed all the things the duel mod doesnt need, replaced some staticmesh...
Some of these maps are totally transformed (duel-nightclub which was before ctf-warehousedistrict)
I found the relics2k3 mutator too, and it s pretty cool !
well I know my maps are not really original, but they are quite fun ; u can fight on duel on your favorite maps ! they all are very impressive, great works, artistic, I had a lot of fun, so I ve decided to remake em for duel.
Er... I will contact the author asap, I have about 30 other maps to remake but later.
have you tried these maps ?
have fun ! (while am contacting the authors

)

As many times as I've asked web sites and servers to remove Chaos work that was altered w/o permission, it would be hypocritical to allow the same to happen here.
So, link removed temporarily ....

The EULA for UT2k3/4 allows you to use Epic's content to be used in your mod or map. Thus the Epic maps
should be ok to modify then distribute as long as its with in th e EULA...

Oh of course.
So I guess it would be easy enough to just post individual links to the ones that are re-made stock maps, or custom ones that you actually made yourself. Then keep us posted on the rest.
Though tkatk is probably right, I can't imagine there being too much interest in UT2003 Duel maps at this point.

No idea about the interest. But Duel maps for UT2k3 should play mostly fine with UT2k4. The only thing that will not probably work is the Mappers Choice option in Duel as we renamed some of the weapons going from ut2k3 to ut2k4 (only to make the code more managable)...

Kinda depends on the map. With the move from UT2k3 to 2k4, alot changed, but alot didn't. Depending on how much stuff the maps used, it could be as easy as opening them up in 2k4 Unrealed and saving them, or it could involve modification of some actors, replacement of textures, etc...
