How do I start to install Chaos

I just got Unreal Tournament 2004, but not the Editor's Choice version. I have not installed any patches yet, i just have the game installed, what should I do now in order to get Chaos?

Go to beyondunreal.com and download ECE and the newest patch
then install the patch
then install the ece
then reinstall the patch
then install ChaosUT2:E
that should work

wait i have to reinstall the latest patch to run chaos!?!?! cuz when i installed ut i did patch then ece then tha community packs then chaos and it wont work now lol so was i supposed to reinstall 3339??

There was an bug with the ECE that breaks some umod installers. Meaning after installing the ECE other umods/files would not install correctly. The fix was to re-apply the last patch.

well i did the zip version so i dont need to reinstall ne thing right?

Maybe not...not sure.. I guess if other mods umods work ok then your all set

The ECE bug does not always queer the UMOD recognition. Only sometimes. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell beforehand. And maybe it queers more than that...
