Crosshairs; somebody help us!

Well, I don't really care for the crosshairs in UT2, and unless I'm mistaken, dull white is our only color choice. And man, that dissappears on me all the time, washed out somewhere in the background.

I expected many more options. Animated, various colors, etc.

Anybody here make crosshairs?

I agree with Mark on this about the crosshair disappearing as you change your view in the background. Would it be possible to make a crosshair do an auto-color adjustment so it can be seen no matter where u point it?

It could be done by somehow making the crosshair turn to the negative color of what ever it's pointing at(e.g. white-black) but i don't know how that could be done.

Yeah probably.. there's add and subract overlays (I think subtract acts like a negative)

I like that crosshair from ONP. Perhaps we can make something even better with a customizable color.

Inverse mouse, I use it all the time on my PCs (its where the mouse color is the opposite color of the color is over. I think that would be cool if we can do that as well as have custom cursors...

I was thinking about the same thing, that would be cool, so that way, not being able to see your crosshair won't be a problem anymore. I never played UT2K3, but I saw pictures of the white crosshair and having color crosshairs is nice. It seems like a lot of good things from UT is missing in UT2K3. Guess Chaos or Patches could put them back in.
