Melee DM should be its own gametype

I feel that Melee DM is a very different game than CUTDM. For the obvious reasons, and it would be much simpler if Melee DM were another gametype.
Because I honestly think that you are approaching this issue the wrong way, and I think that I can help you there. I also think that after thinking about your situation, we might wanna consider a slight change to our current build's arrangement of the melee only option in order to better accommodate you.
But anyway, please bring an open mind to IRC if you can, and hear me out. Because I think it's possible to get what it is you want, in a Much easier fashion. And I think that most of the work for that is already done (by Jb and sinx). Perhaps one more tweak on our part, as I mentioned (not sure what Jb will have in response, sometimes coders are a real downer
). W/o going into all of it here and now; Chaos and Mapmixer. I can for example, already play melee-only ChaosDM, and Duel, and Horde Hunters, and Bombing Run ... all in the map Slaughterhouse, and do it with only one copy of the map on my hard drive (the original one that came with the game).
