Chaotic Dreams

Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place...
There is a map, DM-CUT_WeaponsOfChaos in which a platform can be opened up somehow. If you fall throw the doors then you are teleported to the room which contains the redeemer.

Now, it is easy enough to get into the room with the redeemer, but I can't figure out how to activate the platform door.

Once I inadvertantly did so, but I have never figured out the secret.

That brings back memories. Good times, good times.

Shoot the targets that are between the hangars.

The targets clip out unless I am right up against them.

I shot them. Bullseye and all, then ran back to the platform but it was closed.

I couldn't stand near the platform and shoot the targets because they clipped out.

More help, plz?

As i remember, there was another map that used a trigger that you shot to open a door. You had to use a hitscan weapon to trigger it, so maybe try a different weapon?
