I ordered a 16GB iPhone on Monday from the online Apple Store. It said it would ship in 5-7 days. So today I decided to cancel my order on the Apple Store. I instead went to the local AT&T Store and picked one up right away.

I'm glad to report that I am happily phoning away on my iPhone now! The only hick up was it took a while for my phone number to get moved over to the iPhone because of my own stupidity (I entered in the wrong account number from my previous carrier). So if I had done everything correctly, I am sure it would of been a very fast process.

All I can say is that this is some slick telephony technology!

That wont affect me since I will not be roaming in England, etc. Let alone, I have the switch to off for Data Roaming. Let alone, people should be more careful and read (such as the terms and conditions of the wireless contract) what they are getting themselves into.
