Integrity lost at BU?

BU is currently promoting (via a news post and sshots), a direct rip-off of the Chaos proxy mine. It's called the 'snot', made by somebody I've never heard of before. The folks at BU know darn well this is a rip-off of our unique weapon, and yet they promote it anyway. Sad times are upon us.

Yes, I'm aware Epic has already ripped off this idea, and used the sentient goo in UC2, but the folks at BU know darn well that too was a rip-off from Chaos. I expected better from them.
In addition, I recently mentioned in BU IRC a seperate case of somebody ripping us off, and a different BU admin pretty much just laughed about it. This time some hack took not just a concept from us, but actual assets (gravity vortex).
.....
RFlagg: heh, I never even heard of these until today .... "vortex sentinels" http://forums.epicgames.com/showpost.ph ... tcount=230
RFlagg: never ceases to amaze me, the lack of respect you can find out there
BU Admin: zzz
RFlagg: gee, how unexpected
BU Admin: what that I would say zzz?
BU Admin: or that I would not care what you were saying about someone stealing something from you?
BU Admin: :p
....
Once had great respect for the site, can't say so as much anymore. I still believed in a world where the "mod community" supports each other.
It's worth noting, that our old friend Kyllian stepped up for us in the one instance, and Mr. Evil showed some integrity as well. Shame BU has lost that somwhere along the way.
Is respect for modders and fellow-modders a relic of the past? When viewing the actions of Epic Games and BeyondUnreal, one would think so.
