Problem with gravity vortex,,,

Hi there,
Whenever me or other players get sucked into the gravity vortex,we get kicked out of the game and this message is there:
UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]
OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 3003 MHz with 2046MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT (5819)
General protection fault!

I believe i am up to date on the latest chaos mod and patch,,,any ideas how to fix this problem?
