Look, this wallet is very expensive, its leather, and its attached. Go get your own.

Re DM Maps: So, yes, some of those maps are horrible. Someone should remove them. I'll go have a chat with the admin, especially now, since someone has given feedback on the maps.

Re CTF Maps: So, yes, some of those maps are horrible. Someone should remove them. I'll go have a chat with the admin, especially now, since you have taken the time to read this duplicated message.

In other words... this is a 'community (to a point)' server... I want feedback on the maps, etc... Give me a list of the ones you don't like, why not, and if you have suggestions for other maps... You already know I'm happy to add maps to it...

Okay:

Maps you can remove confidently from server:
CTF-ComArray
CTF-HallOfAnubis
DM-1on1Caveman
DM-Chaos
DM-ColdRetreat (too big, too slow)
DM-Golgotha
DM-KillingField (too big and not easy straightforward)
DM-Pyro
DM-Q1DM4 (too damn small to move proberly)
DM-Serenity
DM-Darkwood Forest (Where do you find such maps? ;))

Other ones are okay. Only I don't know DM-Tooth-N-Claw...

Besides, Liandri v02 never shows up in server mapvote list...

Maps which you could probably add to your server:
CTF-Addien (great atmosphere, good for fast 2v2 ctf)
CTF-DE-ElecFields
CTF-DE-LavaGiant2
DM-DE-Grendelkeep
DM-DE-Ironic
DM-DE-Osiris2
DM-Nirvana][
DM-Victoria

Hope this helps ;)

hi AJC...

Yes, the UT server is up... Oh, and about being off topic. You mentioned Chaos, that's always ON topic :D

www.furrysound.net has all the info... (not that there is that much info :) )

unreal://66.153.113.24:7777

Make sure you have v1.1 Chaos installed.

Let me know when you are one sometime, I'd be happy to hop in, all my contact info is at the bottom of this post. Maps, etc are compressed and redirected, so downloading should be fairly fast if you have broadband.

Ok, I just this minute grabbed this thing off net and fired it up, and now I have to run. Had only couple mins.

But..., if this thing plays like I hope it's going to, then we may have our next map for clan match. Hmm...., maybe 1 map, for 1 hour. Hehe.

Possibly gonna need 6 or 8 or more per side. Maybe have to 'borrow' some ringers from Deus' clan to fill out teams if we need to.

Anyway, check it out, I will later.

 :D :o

McFly indeed! CTF-MarsBase3000.

Ok, got me a new link in my UT2003 maps 'favorites' folder. I was talking to LoQ about this CTF-Shire map I was playing the other day, and whaddya know, same dude.

http://www.buckyfg.com/

Nice site too.

Still only played it a few mins, and have seen a few things I might have changed. Maybe an email is in order. Perhaps he could be persuaded to look at some suggestions at least.

(ie; park in a certain spot, and you can telefrag player after player coming thru teleporters - terrain so bumpy in most places driving is darn near impossible)

But I love the idea. Get enough folks, some ground you can drive on, and this could be much fun.

Seems there are issues with the redirection and v2220... working on it. If you don't have the maps, stop on over at www.furrysound.net and pick them up before hand.

Unfortunately no. That would double the space usage or not allow modem users to get them in a reasonable way. Just use a website 'raper' to download them all :)
