CUT2:Evolution Release 1 Bug Thread
Folks,
with the release of CUT2:Evolution soon we thought to make a sticky here for bugs that you find. We tried our best to remove them all but some may have slipped through. So if you find a bug please post it here. I will make this a sticky so we all can keep track of it. Thanks for trying our mod.

Here are the list of the Fixed bugs that will be in the next version:
- ESC in Koth causing the mid menu not to load
- A few of the spray paint logs were wraping around objects

Hi, I just downloaded the early release ersion from the link in your email (R.Flagg) I tried out one map so far, on the king of the hill gametype, that egyption map. Anyways, when I press esc to get to my menu to quit, forefit, whatever, all it does is pause the game, I have no menu at all, and to exit the game I had to type exit at the console. Just thought i'd let you know.

With the crossbow, a message would appear stating I'd switched firing modes when changed to the charged arrow. But with the Sniper it didn't have one for switching scopes, so if I hit the button multiple times without counting I'd have no idea what scope I'm on till I use it.
The bots also seem to freeze in place alot. This is with bot-grapple enabled though, so I'm not sure if it's because of that.

yea sorry about that. We still were not sure how to do this properly. We thought about have a spot for each weapon that has a WOK. But were not sure if that was the best way or not. We will get feedback on how we should do this (pretty graphics on the hud, text message) then go with it for the next one. We only added it for the xbow as there is no way to tell unless you shot first. With the sniper you at least dont "waste" a shot...I know not the best...

Possible bug in CTF games
I was playing CTF-Diamondsword, got to the enemy based and tried to pick up the flag but one of my bots was stuck on the flag and didn't seem to be able to pick it up.
I didn't think much of it until I played lavagiant, ran back to my base and tried to make the capture but I ran straight through the flag - no capture or any kind of recognition that I had made a capture. The game said I still had the flag
I was running chaos in diamondsword, but I ran UT2003RPG and Superbots as well in lavagiant

Not even sure what the 1st one is, and I've never tried either one, but if you get a chance, please try it without those and see if it still happens.but I ran UT2003RPG and Superbots
CTF is my favorite game type, and I captured many flags in testing, so this is a surprise. But you never know, strange things happen.
Anyway, if you get a chance to repeat this w/o those other mods/muts, please post again. Maybe email you log file too.

It looks like there is a problem with a proxy sound file. Can you help me with this? I loved the Chaos mod for original UT and I can't wait to try the ut2k3 version.

When me and my frind tryed to play on lan
a interesting thin happend I (was the host ) he joined the server and he wrote that he couldent see any of the chaos objects.
But I could , for exsampel I Killed him with the gravity-vortax but he couldent see the vortax... only hes swirling body .
another exampel, he killed me when i had CUT RocketL and picked up the link?
I dont know maybe its just a config problem but im not sure.
Hope sombody can help me.
