No both the regual and RPB fire actual projectiles so you have to lead your targets. The RPB do more damage as well as can shoot through players if they are lined up :)

It looks like there is a problem with a proxy sound file. Can you help me with this? I loved the Chaos mod for original UT and I can't wait to try the ut2k3 version.

sorry for your troubles. Can you give us a bit more info on this?

Does this happen any time you enable the cut mut? What other muts do you have running? Does this happen right away or after you play it for a bit? Sorry just that we have some beta testers with hardware simular to yours but they have never reported the issue. So anything you can provide us will help to get this issue resolved on your system. Again sorry it did not work out this time.

Yea that happens because that logo texture was not set to TC_Clamp (think it defaults to TC_Wrap and that causes the effect you see). I thought we had gotten them all changed over. Looks like we missed one :( Sorry about that. We will fix for next release.

Possible map bug?

Not a problem with the mutator itself. When I played the KOTH swamp map, there bots never seem to go to the hill. I got to the hill and just set there till I won and the bots were no where close to the hill. The skill level was low and I had Bots use Grapple on and auto skill. I only played it once so far, so I'm not sure if that was a one time thing or what, but I can play it again later to see if there really is a problem.
Mad Member with lots of ideas and questions and somewhat good fragging skills.

Ugh...just locked my system solid, needed a reboot. Not sure what caused the problem, in the UT2003.log file it cuts off unpacking some package; I was playing on Citadel when I killed someone with a fire-mine and it froze.

It takes ages to load levels when using CUT2, obviously cause there are extra packages to unload. Another issue is that it seems to result in a much lower framerate - at the start of a match if I'm using the CUT2 mutator it stutters around for a minute or two, like it's still loading everything, even though i have precaching on. And overall I get slightly lower framerates, when I was playing on Citadel I had average in low teens and even 1fps on numerous occasions, compared to my usual 40 or so.

I started a game in dimond-sword I had the arena mutator on crossbow.
when I lunched the game I got This:

Sorry we did not make this more clear. But the bot grapple code uses the same code as the bot translocator. So you need the bots set up a notch or two. I forget which level that is but someone will get back to you on it. Also you can not use the translocator and have the bots grapple (again because the bots use the same code).

Deflac sorry for your issues. We have tested CUT on a bunch of defferent systems and yes it does load it down a bit. However it does not slow them down as bad as your are discribing. So I want to help you but need more info. Can I get an idea of your system specs (CPU, Video Card) and the in game settings you are using for details?

You are correct for the sutter it takes awhile for UT2k3 to load everything and it lets you start playing even though you dont have all of the packages loaded yet.

Pentium 4 1.7Ghz, 256mb of RDRAM, Geforce 3 Ti200, Windows XP Professional.

Detail settings? 32bit colour, 1024x768, everything on normal except world detail, which is high.

Sorry once again but CTF and CUT2 work fine. My son loved to snipe from from the top on Face3 all of the time. Luck sob ;)

Its kinda dificult deu to the fact that i re-installed UT2003 but il try to recreate the same error.

Oh jb, I have the feeling it might be due to the new sound-patch I installed causing the huge chugging. It did chug a bit before the patch, but not quite as much. I'll test and see.
