bot have problems jumping

bot have problems jumping

in the koth map dungeon something the have problems to jump to the higer level they also dont shoot when i hit em when the are not one the hil please fix this. the same problem with the jumping is in the qauke like map there is a jump but they try to jump on a tiny ledge insted of the normal ground this way they keep falling of. it is hard to mis just play the maps and see

nice duck shoot though :D

and thanks for the great mod! if they AI gets better it s better that ut2003 itself the weapos are that already and maps give you the good old chaos feelin

I have tried to adjust the KoTH bots a bit better. However they still dont like to fight back much. I am afriad if I tweak it any further they will stop playing by "KoTH" rules and more DM rules. I will see what I can do again about that.

The map we can look into. Loq?

killalot0, The area that you are refering to( i think ) is the stair sets at either end with the ledge to the upper level above them.

THe bots are set up to run up the stairs and either Double jump to the ledge , OR run through the telly where they will then double jump to the ledge on the other side. I do believe that what you are seeing is the bots attempting to make that jump. When they miss they then attempt to make that jump again because it is a forced path. I will look and see if i can tweak it so that they make the jump every time. ;)

Loq, I think I see the jump problem and how it can be fixed. We can talk together when we have some time in the near future and I can tell you what you can do to improve them, let me know... :)
