Dedicated Server Questions for UT2

Sorry if this stuff has been asked before.

Will a dedicated server force download the UT2 mutator or does the client have to have it installed?

Can you run it with INVASION?

Is there a way to set it up for more ammo?

Is there a way to turn up the power on each of the weapons?

A dedicated server can force a download of the needed files to play.. but the users wont be able to bind keys unless they download the full version.

Chaos runs with invasion

Dont know about the ammo or power, but i know ut2003rpg successfully increases damage and ammo count, so im sure theres a way it can be done with a small mutator

Yup.. redirection works great.. I've got 3 servers pulling from the redirector I run. As Jedi mentioned, most any mutator that increases damage, etc should work with Chaos. Chaos and Invasion are a great match... Check out DM-INV-SandStorm for a decent invasion map, or DM-ShadedValley if you want the bulldog ingame.

Both of which you can find in the maps section, here

I am already running those maps thanks.
BTW I have my server up and running, my redirect slams it to ya.

"Blueberry's Gamerzunlimited.com" is the name of the server. It is running INVASION.

Only thing I need now is to be able to pump up the damage, the weapons are too weak.

Just too weak for my enhanced monsters and I don't want to run the standard setup on the monsters. Even the ERDW is too weak. I will try out ut2003rpg tonight and see if that helps.

with a high level a ut2k3rpg player can solo up to wave 15 in some maps using the default monsters without too much difficulty

Cool, check my server out after I get it all tweaked, probaly by tomorrow.

Chaos PR v1.02 - Moovin' Hoovin' Chaotic Meadows

I hit your server over the weekend, but my pings fluctuated a lot, the lowest was 200 and it was up from there...

The server is in Seattle, my pings are 15-35ms, I am in Portland Oregon.
I removed Chaos until I figure out how to tweak it better.
Started another server this weekend, this one is in Missouri, pings should be better for eastern players on this one.
