HELP REQUEST: ChaosUT Mutator will not show up!

I've looked & searched around on your site and there is nothing that addresses this issue. Here is what is happening...

SYSTEM
Intel Pentium4 2.6 Ghz with 512 Meg DDRRAM, 70 GB hard drive (40 Gig free), Soundblaster Audigy, and a Geforce4 TI4600 128 Ram vid card.

I installed UT3K, patched it up to the most current version, installed the two bonus packs, and then installed the ChaosUT mod. The installation was in a c:/games/UT directory. The Chaos UT mod detected the right directory and installed without any visible problems.

I loaded up UT3K and went the the mutator's section. The ChaosUT mutator is NOT there. The 'config' tab allows me to bind keys to the ChaosUT specific comments (and lists Chaos UT when doing so) but there is not any mutator to activate.

Any suggestions/thoughts about what could be done. I already tried uninstalling/reinstalling so that is not a viable suggestion. Anything else?

Go to where it put the files, and make sure that that place is where your other UT2k3 files are

Somtimes Ut2mods cram their stuff in my Old UT folder( dam those ut2mods) maybe the same thing happened to you?

Can you do this for me, start UT2k3, go to the mut section. You wont be able to add chaos. But if you can then quit out and mail me (jb@planetunreal.com) the ut2003.log we can find the issue. You are probably missing the chaostex_004 file which we can give you. Sorry for your trouble.

I actually fixed it by downloading the NON-Umod version and installing all the files manually. Yeah, I think the 004 texture file was missing along with maybe 1 or 2 other files. You might want to update your umod...

Otherwise a fine piece of work - very enjoyable once it is working...

I loaded it using the zip file. It works good. Everything works good on my hosted server too.

PS I don't like the UMOD, sometimes it messes up.

I had the same probleme, The mut didn't show up .... I though I had to much mutator since I'm at more than 90
I didn't try the non-umod fille yet gonna try that soon
