Although i didn't install Epic's Bonus Pack, it seems to work perfectly fine for me, and I didn't encounter any strange bugs, glitches, crashes, freezes, or anything. I did install the v2225 patch, the DE bonus pack, and the PRv1.02 patch, so i guess the Epic Bonus Pack could be marked as optional, but I guess that's only for me.

Epic bonus pack is required for more mods than just chaos...

Besides the gametypes there are the textures and statics and stuff that imo make it worth the download. Just set it up when you go to bed.. if on a slow connection set up a download manager to help get it. Come back after work the next day and it should be done.

Nah, that's all right, i'll just do what jeditobe said. Besides, isn't that illegal? Unless you giving it to me for free...anyways, my minds' made up, i'll download it and wait a bajillion hours if its all worth it.

nah its not illegal the bouns pac was offered as a free download...... now if he where to copy ut2k3 and give it to you thats a different story.

exactly.. so long as I don't charge you, and I wouldn't have, its legal. I think I could charge for the media and postage and still be legal, but that's not me... :D

Some glitchy behavior found

Here's something I noticed, though you guys probably already know this one.

The laser trip mines can be glitchy and fall through StaticMesh and even BSP structures. A good level to see this on is CTF-LostFaith. Just stand on the ledge over your flag and drop some mines down onto the walls blocking the enterance. The mines attach to the walls a good amount of times, but maybe 1 in 10 seem to fall through it (attaching to the inner surface?) or through the floor if your aim is crappy and you hit the base of the wall. I can get some screenshots of "stuck" mines if you like on various levels, but it's not hard to reproduce.

Great job on the mod so far guys! Can't wait for 1.03!

Well...I tried to download it, but my ISP decided I didn't really need the file and cut me off at 64%. I've given up and ordered a CD from fileplanet with the bonus pack on it, with a bunch of other goodies on the CD as well. The only downside to this is that it will take 2 weeks to arrive here. I'm feeling I should have just taken your CD, but I would still have to have waited a while before it got here. Oh, the pains of having a crappy connection.

And there are many more options I'm sure. Use it next time, and if you get cut off, it will recover the download for you, so you don't have to start over.

Works like a charm for me. I'm on 56k, and get cut off all the time. Bugs me even more when it's in-game. GetRight can't help me there! :wink:

But give it a shot. You could be playing tonight or tomorrow maybe? Check the servers page for IP's, and come on out. Had a great time on Smackdown #1 last night.

I'll keep an eye out for you.
