ProxyBall!

I had mentioned this a few months back.. but someone wrote a mutator for it over at the atari forums: http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/sh ... did=248645

Basically it takes any static mesh you want and makes it a bombing run ball. So to make it use one of the proxy static meshes just point it at: ChaosMapItemz.Proxies.ProxyOrb

Here's an idea... :)

ProxyBall Idea 2.0:

A proxy is the ball, if it hits the ground, it has 5 seconds to be picked up or it detonates and returns to center. It can only be carried for 10 seconds or so before exploding and killing the ball carrier. Only way to avoid this is to either drop it, or pass it to someone else. If you drop it, and nobody else touches it, and you re-pick it up, it explodes instantly.

An additional idea, is to have it hop around if it hits the ground.

Meanwhile, as you run with it, it taunts you the whole time... "You got 10 seconds buddy", "You call that dodging?", "You were the guy picked last in gym, wern't you?"... etc

What do ya think? Is it code-able?

What about it follows you instead of using a launcher and if a enemy comes he has to kill you to get the proxy to follow him
