Bah,
not for me. Sorry no offense to the RO team but I am just sick of these WW2 type games. It seems that is all the rage now. We have 3/4 mods for UT/UT2k3. We have BF1942, RtCW (RTCW:ET), MOH:AA and all of her add ons. Call of Duty, DoD, ect. Again I think the did a fantastic job but for me that Gene is pretty abused atm. Much like the conuter strick clones

Yeah , the whole Uber realistic War game thing is pretty much old by now, Dont get me wrong , I'd defend my BF1942 copy with my life , but More of the same is not what is needed.
on a somewhat related note , I found a shooter that is a nearly an Exact opposite to the WW2 game , called XIII. it comes out wendsday , but for those of you who cant wait , and have the connection speed , heres where you can get the demos http://downloads.ign.com/game/479340.html
and heres a link to where you can read reviews and look at tasty screenshots http://pc.ign.com/articles/360/360113p1.html?fromint=1

Me too. Most of those WW games are really good. But I'm tired of that. James Ryan somehow started it all and now it's like the days when every second game was RTS or (in case you are old enough) when everyone tried to copy Doom. Feels like being fed with cake and sugar for a month. It's just too much...LoQtUS wrote:Sorry, I have to Echo Jb here.

Not really. There was a 2 or 3 year gap between when i started using computers and when i started playing games on them (well.. thats not right, i was playing games from day 1, but im talking about PC games instead of apple IIGs games that were run completely off a 3.5inch disk).
Anyways.. i think Wolf3d was somewhere in that gap.
