Please people , Our administrator is leaving , and I am being left as the only active staff member. whats worse is at the moment I am not even able to gain access to the site due to technichal matters. We really REALLY REALLY need your help , you can volunteer for anything , but mostly we need file posters. Please , PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE at least consider joining , if not join , We need more help. Any help will be accepted as long as youre serious about wanting to help. We are in dire straits , and I greatly fear that the site will be lost if we dont get any help. Please help , I love that site too much to see it die , I'd be crushed. Please , lend a helping hand , and join up.
Here are the jobs available.
File Poster
All you have to do is upload files to our temporary FTP server, and use our FileOps server to upload to our FileFront servers and post the files to the site with a short (Or long) description and maybe a quicky review of the map, then add a screenshot and you're set. Broadband is a must, sinse you'll be trafficing every file that comes our way.
Mail Boy
If you're going to be a File Poster, you might as well do this job too sinse all of our files come in via E-mail. It's not hard at all. We have a Webmail server that you can easily use to download any file attatchments sent our way onto your computer, or reply to any received E-mails for those who have a question. This job goes hand-in-hand with File Poster because both are tied together.
File Shifter
If you don't have broadband and you're looking to volunteer, then this might be the position for you. This position involves switching the Featured Files and File of the Week around as needed. Featured Files should be shifted whenever as many as 3 new files are posted, but should remain up for 24 hours to make sure they get their chance in the spotlight. Easy to do and only takes a couple of minutes.
Picture of the Day
Another easy job, this is also good for those with slow connections. All you have to do is dig through our archive of submitted PoTD images, select one you like, edit the caption if it pleases you (to something fairly appropriate), and that's it!
News Poster
This job is easier than most people think. In this job you just try and keep in touch with modders to get the latest info on their mods, it's not really an everyday event, but you can make it one if you like. You can also post info on relevant UT2003 info and a variety of other news, whatever you find to be relevant or not so relevant. This job doesn't require a high bandwidth connection, so anyone can do this.
Poll Changer
Easy as pie, just come up with a new UT2003 relavent poll or maybe an abstract one, it's not going to kill us to branch out some. Just set up the quest, number of answers, and what each answer is, that's it!

.. there a LOT to be updated. would be good to get links to all the creators homepages etc. as well.
