Problems with ChaosUT2

Ok, so I was reading your website and saw that chaos now had a melee mode. My jaw dropped...I love melee games, and Chaos's system sounded good.

I install, go into ChaosUT... I don't see duel mode. Well, I figure Ill just play normal Chaos UT. Well, I played for about an hour, looked through settings and whatnot...NO ChaosUT anything.

I try to start a KOTH map...and it tells me "Can't find file for package 'meleemodels' " or some such thing as that.

I can't do anything with ChaosUT!!!! HELP!

Uhoh! I don't have DE map pack. Going to DL it now....

But just in case...do you think it could be something else?

if you dont see duel as gametype and chaosut as mutator its not installed correctly

maybe unzipped into the wrong folder ?

De pack isnt necesarry..dont dl it if you dont want to...do you have the epic pack?did you install by umon or zip?did you dl 2.0 or 2.01?

it sounds like you installed 2.01 iwthout 2.0

It does sound like you installed only the v2.01 patch. You will need the full v2.0 then install the patch afterwards. I'd recommend the umod version of the v2.0 installation.

Actually somehow I got the PR102 Full Umod, and not 2.0.

But I got it from a 2.0 link... thanks for the responses tho guys.

I can tell you that the Fileplanet one DOES work, cause I used that and I now have PR20.

Now all you have to get is the PR 2.01 UPDATE and then you should be set to go! Hope you have fun in it!

You should also get Map Pack 1.02 + Map Pack 2 available on the download page =)
