Hi to everyone from Spain,

Sorry if this a foolish question, but sometime ago i heard that ut2k3 mods, maps etc, will be compatible with ut2k4 if this true?

Maps will be compatible. So will skins. Models will probably need new animations, and most mutators/mods will need to be updated slightly to work right.

Yea, a lot of things are going to need an update
Netcode changed
Core Code changed
I think that Static mesh handling changed a bit, but they said maps would only need to be opened in 2k4's UEd and re-saved to fix any potential issues

(Melaneus) Dammit, don't you know Furrysound's actually this hot anthro cat goddess? Who does server administration?

If maps aren't resaved, it only means slightly longer loading.

Not much needs changing for mods and mutators - weapons need editing, HUD and GUI's need to be reworked.

It's mostly just going to add alot of potential to what modders can do.

Thanks folks, it would be a shame dump all those beautiful maps, and of course that amazing Chaos UT mod (best mod ever).

Adios.
