RUNNING MORE THAN ONE MUTATOR?

Is it posible to run more than one mutator at the same time?

Can i run chaos combined with another one?

Also,is it posible to adjust the strength of the weapons either in the game or in a game folder?
It seems like the crossbow arrows are too weak in chaos.

Some mutators work others don't.

The new weaponload mut does not work with chaos.
The older weaponload half way did (olny the plasma cannon did)

I would like to know about adjusting the weapons strength also.
I am running the mod on an Invasion server and a lot of the weapons needs to have the strenght boosted.

Hmmm, I must admit that I never tested CUT2 with Invasion. I am sure some of the others have, so I'll ask them.

Adjusting the strength of the weapons might become pretty interesting for our DoC, too...

Sorry, we do not, and will not, include options to adjust our weapon strength. (and neither does Epic btw)

Some of us played many games of INV with CUT2, and had a blast doing it. I don't recall feeling that any of the weapons needed adjusting. (though we did change the vortex for INV, based on requests from players) Would you care to be more specific, and share the IP of where you're playing.

I understand the comment about normal arrows feeling weak though, as that has been a common statement ever since the Q2Chaos days. So we're used to that one. :wink:

However, normal arrows are actually very deadly (and higher level bots can prove this if you wanna try them offline), but they require excellent aim. This is a weapon that you must grow into, IMO. I tend to use it as a 'challenge' when playing against newer players. Rather than rail them one more time, I'll use the bow.

But....., nothing is out of the question. This is a new game, and a new era. We'll be looking again at the xbow when the coders squeeze out the 1st '04 IR.

exploding arrows

My only complaint were the exploding arrows being too weak or the collateral damage of the explosion being too weak.I can shoot 4 exploding arrows next to a player and the explosions do not kill
him...
