If there is already a post concerning this, my apologies. I'm at work, on break, and don't have time to go through all the "Spawn Protection" hits.

I was thinking that spawn protection is a way ggod thing.. until some jerk (usually me,) decides he's going to go after somebody while he is protected..

I was thinkning that spawn protection could be in effect until time runs out or the first shot is fired by that person. That keeps someone from grabbing the rocket laucher or something and getting a "K-mart kill" because he is invulerable. Admittedly, it doesn't happen THAT often, but still...

How difficult would this be? How possible would his be?

BTW, /me drools over that turret pic that was on the front page..

Quick question.. Can a person use the off-hand grapple while on the hover board?? I was thinking of re-enacting a Back to the Future scene...

We have removed spawn protection from Chaos, because UT2004 has it covered, outta the box.

It does go off if the player fires a weapon, and the time is configurable in the GUI.

And yes, the plan is to have your weapons and grapple available while riding the Hoverboard, we'll see how it goes.
