Fan Weapon Ideas and More for CUT2:E
May have to do that however I have not installed any other mod in a long time (trying to keep a cleen UT2k4 dir). Other than the Rail gun, the BFG was my favorite weapon of Q2 even over the Chaos Weapons. I loved playing on-line with the gun as it could run most maps with either weapon. Maps that had both were the best (Q2DM2, Q2DM4, Q2DM6). Anyways there were 4 diffent ways a BFG could hurt you...know how it work was the key. kinda seems half of these ideas are already in unreal II the awakening eg the splitting rocket launcher oh well would be fun to have one in ut2k4 good luck guys! 
also one thing i loved about uII was the sniper zoom , you could use the scroll wheel instead of holding down alt fire. made things a whole helluvalot easier (at least in my eyes)

Here are my ideas for super ammo’s for the following.
fire (mug): fires a fireball or a beam of fire.
Ice (mug): allows you to shoot ice shards that sticks players onto walls
Cutter: a saw that continues to cut through whatever it hits.
Normal sniper ammo: makes a homing beacon on whatever and whomever it hits so that the phoenix follows them until they are dead. And it does constantly rain bombs on that person. Does not work on teammates.
Disruptor: makes smoke that has a large radius and a large height, lasts long, and makes vehicles start going mad while firing on their own and honking and such.
Proxy: the golden proxy. This makes a redeemer explosion on its own and is much quicker.
These all have one ammo, except for the mug which I thought would be its alt fire if it has none already. Or its AWO.
And to replace the shield gun and still give a small sample of melee is the chaos rapier. Players just hold it like it was a gun and this makes it look like a heavy duty rapier. Primary would be the stab movement and alt fire could be like a small block.
EDIT: and for the beam of fire, its range could be as far as the link gun alt fire's range.

I think they should put a replacement for the minigun. I have in mind the H.E.L.S.A.W. It stands for High Energy Laser Squad Automatic Weapon,which is kinda like the SAW the army uses, but instead of bullets it fires a laser. It should have the lens flare the ERDW has.
Primary fire would be a laser, like the secondary fire on the link gun, except it doesn't "bends".

Thanks for the correction TKATK, I always confuse which weapon does the lens flare effect.
But when I meant the explosion of the energy clip, I was thinking of a explosion like the grenade one, more damaging, with a decent splash damage range. However you wouldn't be able to throw very far, it would be more like a last resort choice. The explosion wouldn't be a huge nulear bomb, like in the film

I agree with some of the ideas out there that there needs to be some kind of rapidfire weapon.. like the minigun but made chaos style.
It just seems that a solid rapid fire/bullet-ish weapon is missing from the arsenal...
I think third ammo type for the MUG is a good idea. It keeps with the trend of fire/ice/posion. It could possibly be acid instead of poison. That seems like a nice idea.

I agree TKATK: it wouldn't be very fun to approach someone who is equiped with a CUTTER or a Crossbow and receive damage automatically just because your are close to him. It should be more manual, like pressing a button and you will perform a melee attack (ala Call of Duty).
With the third ammo for the MUG: it could be difficult to balance it. Why would people use poisonous grenades if they could have the same ability with a direct hit weapon ?
I also belive they should change the Avril with something more choatic. The function would be the same, except the method of destruction should be again, chaotic. Names that come to my mind are StarStreak and Longinus AVS.
