Just wanted to know what your thoughts of the demo are/were?

Here are mine:
1) Graphics, well not much to say here but OMG do they rock

2) Gameplay - The first time I played it at Epic I though hmmm this feels a lot like Quake. I was not alone a lot of other peope (die hard UT fans) dont like the speed. ME, I am ok with it. It just did not feel like UT. I am sure moving the game speed down a notch or two will fix it for those that think its too fast. I love the double jump. I have been missing that since my Q2 days. I dont care much for the Aderline but can see how that replaces the Relics or something like that. However I see people using the dodging quite a bit on-line and at first that seem a bit spammy to me... Bombing run was kind of fun to play.
3) Weapons. Mixed bag. Some were ok, some were not ok. The mini-gun was a bit week IMHO. That sniper...some things to like and others to dis like. The RL needs to have a bit more splash damage as I really need to hit the gun dead on most of the time to do damage.
4) HUD - Gotta go. Did not like it at all.
5) AI - I did see some improvement. I was playing CTF and my team of bots got a nice big lead. With one minute left I saw all my bots pull back and play defense instead of trying to get another Cap. Cool. AI that thinks

Over all I kind of like it. Its a change from UT which may or may not be a good thing...
