Crash to Desktop -

I can play single player but when I connect to a server it will DL any updates but whne its time to join I get connection failed. This is everytime I try to join a server. UT04 vanilla and a few other mods start fine. Chaos shows in the community list so I know its installed correctly.

Any help on how I can connect to an online game without connection lost would be great.

Dont suppose you have the beta patch thats been floating around?

I did. But many of the other mods worked. I just tried firing up vanilla and it wasn't working. reinstalling now and I'll patch with the patch from fileplanet.

One question I have. When I use winzip should the directory be

c\ut2004
or
c\ut2004\

I want to make sure that when I unzip they are going in the right direction.

Should work either way, from what i remember.

Anyways.. the reason i was asking about the beta patch is that if the server is not patched and you are.. you will lock up i beleive.
