DUEL GAME IDEAS!

First off id like to say TY VERY MUCH for making that duel mode ;) its very very fun.

Some ideas:

1. More animations for the moves ( would help with avoiding getting stuck in an animation loop ) plus look alot smoother.

2. Some colored tracers for the weapons when you swing them, or maybe only lunge attacks glow?

3. More movements, so we have forward back left and right for weapon movement. why not down+right movements? down+left, Up+left, Up+right. =)

4. Would be sweet if every weapon had a finishing move of sorts, say when you beat your guy for say 3 seconds they kinda just stand there dazed like in Mortal Kombat and then you bunch in the button code and violah. FINISH HIM!!

5. Team duels would be nice, this would allow for clan matches.

6. Throwing moves ( throw the person to the ground judo style!)

7. Throwing Weapons >;) ( i always wanted to just throw my daggers at soeones head) >=D

8. NO POWER UPS! lol one thing i found annoying with the default server settings is you only get 60 seconds to fight.. you get these maps with power ups and people just camp the power ups and the games end in a draw.. ( on my server i pumped it up to 90 seconds, people were much happier with that )

9. Hmm im sure people have seen at least one movie where two people are on ropes with swords, swinging back and forth trying to kill the other, be nice if the grappling hook had a faster release and a climb down button it would allow for such fights ;)

10. Pickups, i think it would be sweet if we could just turn pickups off in the server setup screen.

11. MATRIX MOVES!! =D i tried to use the mutator Monkey Matrix Moves with Chaos, BUT! only prob is you cant spawn.. the bots do but players cant =/. If anyone knows a way around this please reply =). And if the creaters just feel like adding more movements =D like flips wall runs umm you know matrix kinda stuff =D

Matrix moves is just incompatible,they should fix it

More animations,would be nice


Throwing would certainly unbalance duel,imo

Finishing is propably not implementable

agree about remove pickup,powerup options

There is no way duel or any of the melee stuff will be compatible with matrix moves. Both alter the pawn class, which inherantly makes them incompatible.

i dont think throws would unbalance the game at all since you would have to get really close you would be valnurable to attack..

i dunno i think finishing moves would be really sweet ;) and i think it could be done.

lol i dont mean throw the weapons.... i mean judo throws.. like grabbing someone and thowing them to the ground. =)

err nm didnt notice i put throwing weapons on there too =X ya that would be pritty unbalanced.. BUT what you could do is when the weapon is thrown and say misses or is blocked by a weapon it falls to the ground and you have to go pick it up again leaving you COMPLETELY valnurable ;) making you use it VERY wisely

judo throws:i doubt its possible,would require helluva work if it is

Weapon throws:i mean THATS imbalanced
