DUEL GAME IDEAS!
ok well getting things back on topic here...
MALEE CTF: i dunno if you can currently set ctf to malee weapons only havnt played with many of the options but if there isnt then this is a suggestion for a game type. pritty simple.. ctf.. malee weapons.. done =D hehe it worked well in jedi knights games and was pritty popular
i think for ctf malee, some of the ruins the communitee has suggested like the freeze one fire one umm poison one what ever, would be perfect in a ctf malee environment.

eww accually just had an extended idea for that CTF duel mode instead of flags have small golden proxie mine guys that look like trophies.. =D and put a timer on it so when you capture it you have a certain ammount of time to bring it back or it blows up in your hands =X hehe or have it so a person has to hand it to another on there team before 10 seconds passes or it blows up, kind of hot potato ctf, would force team work to win

Ok I agree that a team duel would be fun. Such as a 2 on 2. Or a 2 on 1 duel type like in Jedi Academy where the lone duelist has stronger attacks and more hp. Also any sort of powerups or pickups ruin the duel and give one person an unfair advantage.
In the stonehenge map everyone always runs for the major powerup first. Usually the person who gets the health keg, sheilds, or double damage always wins.
Also I don't know if this belongs in this thread or not but i think the katana needs more damage or range. The katana is the hardest weapon to use because it has short range and deals little damage compared to something like the axe, bastard sword, or hammer. Also most people win using the katana by just constantly using the heavy stance forward move. In future versions I would like to see that removed seeing as how I've never seen any samurai spin his wrist 360 degrees.

[Veteran] (Graphic: Worn looking blade) - Most kills and few deaths.
[Berserker] (Graphic: Blood shot eyes) - Most kills and most deaths.
[Peerless] (Graphic: A shining blade held with a scar-free hand) - Most kills, but not least damage done. No deaths.
[Oppertunist] (Graphic: A hand or weapon partially obscured by shadows) - Most kills, but least damage done. Few deaths.
A few negative medals...
[Coward] (Graphic: A chicken!) - No kills, no deaths.
[Punching Bag] (Graphic: A fist against a battered shield) - Most damage taken.
[Suicidal] (Graphic: A figure hanging themselves) - Most suicides.
[Nature's Enemy] (Graphic: A graphic of a fallen tree with blood splattered on the underside) - Most deaths by environment

I'd figure the deaths by timer would have to be uncounted for those.
I also agree with the idea of having powerups optional or taken out all together. Also, maybe toning down the movement speed and increasing the weapon swing speed over all may help to increase the pace of things.
