New Moves?
What about new moves? We have kicks and lunges. and those are the only ones that I know of. What about punching, headbutting, (what ever that's called when u swipe the other guys's legs from undernegth them). What about those?
Making people fall down will probably be very complicated. But what about headbutting at least?
Headbutting rocks. But you should probabaly make it so that you substain half of the damage that you deal... And blurry vision afterwrds...
And new combos? Jump kick spin slash? body slam???

Why would you use your head to hit someone when you have an axe or a sword or a hammer in your hand? Unless you have an extremely thick or pointed skull, headbutts would be kinda useless.
And punches would be pretty ineffective because of the nature of Chaos melee. If people moved more slowly or they had to slow down or stop when they used their weapons to attack, then punching would be okay.
And can you guys make an animation for the kick so it doesn't look like we're pushing enemies around with their mind?
Leg sweeps would be cool though. Maybe an attack for crouching and stuff.
Oh, and can you make stances animated, so that we can tell what stance the enemy is using? Maybe making the player hold the weapon a different way or something.

There are some mods that are unarmed-melee related (kick and punch). I think Fatal Arts is one of them, but I haven't checked any of them out.

No, punching should be fast. The current swings of weapons are very slow so punching would work well close range. For example, the one sided axe don't work well if you're right next to the other guy, so you would punch him. Same with the head butt.

I think the first step in the leg sweeping thing, is the need for more mods to have Fall down animations. Games like prince of persia where when you get hit while jumping you fall on your ass and have to get back up. This could make for much more interesting moves like stab attacks while the person is on the ground and stuff. Chaos would do great with those IMO. swing the axe low and it clips the legs etc.
