Jeez, it was a pain to register here. :?

I just downloaded the chaosUT mod to mess around with since I liked it in the UT GOTY edition... :)

Anyway, when playing a deathmatch on DM-CE-ChaosDM1, I tossed a vortex out in the "dark room" where the vortex, deemer, and turret spawns in at... After I launched it, I ran like hell into the halls. I started to get sucked up, but got caught in the railing.

Heres where it gets good... I got stuck on the railing with -432 HP. Note the negative. I was still alive, and the bots did not fire at me and I could not kill them. I also couldnt move. I had to suicide to get out of it. This whole incident gave me 2 suicides. :(

Anyone else encounter something like this?

Ok, now time for my request...

I'd like to see a feature that gives us greater control over the spawning of weapons and items. Like how the CUT weapons currently cycle with the standard weapons, but I'd like to see an option that allows us to fully define which weapons the CUT weapons spawn in with. Hope this makes sense... :?

never expirienced the health thing

feature:are you suggesting like allowing you to edit what replaces what?

LOL... Figures someone could explain better. :?

Yea, but also with the option of setting multiple weapons for each spawn-in area randomly.

thanks for the feedback. Have not seen a bug like that before. But please let us know if it happens again!

For the weapon changes? Its probably something we will not do. There are "worm" type muts out there that do this already. They can provide the control that your looking for.

I was able to reporoduce it on the same map earlier today. :? 8O

I've also run across another bug. I'm beginning to think my UT installation is screwed...

Anyway, when playing "normal" UT2K4 (not chaosUT), whenever I create a bot roster and after the game I try to play another game my opponent team's bots are doubled.

Example.. When I set Motig, Selig, etc on the opposing team and in the next game I'd have 2 of each in the game. If I continued, I'd have 4 of each bots. This would continue on end for my opposing team. I have to edit the bot roster before each game and remove the duplicates.

I've uninstalled chaosUT, and the issue goes away, but when I reinstall it the issue resurfaces.

Anyway... I've tried the other weapon systems, but they dont seem to work with chaosUT properly, and they all use a "replace", none have a "random" capability with randomly spwaning in weapons. I figured you guys wouldnt do this, but it does lead to my 2nd suggestion. I'd also like to see an option of which we can enable and disable specific weapons/ammo.

Just to let you guys know though...
