Erhm... Actually, what I'd like to have in LMS duels are bodies that stay until the end of the match actually... I hate it when bodies just disappear like they do. >.<

I agree. Nothing is more annoying then getting a hit off that sends a body flying only to see it dissappear before it hits the ground.

I agree, unfortunately FPS drop and lag are your other choices to leaving the bodies

Not really. You'd only be leaving at most 7 bodies lying around.

Fragops seemed to do well with 22 bodies lying on the ground,so i doubt duel will suffer a fps drop

How about including rolls into the game? When you push crouch while dodging, or dodge while crouching, you should be able to perform an evasive roll. If you hold down crouch while rolling, you stay crouched when you finish and if you don't you stand up.

That would mean adding a whole new animation for every model. Besides while rolling would look cool, it would be kind of useless. Why take the extra time to press the crouch button, when it will get you as far away form the opponent as the dodge would.
Frankly, if they were going to do a new animation I would have it rather be spent on weapons prior to movement.

actually an interesting tidbit , the Lunge was originally a Roll , but UT2k3/4 screwed up the animation.

But Dodge > Roll > Lunge > Kill just sounds so cool!

Yeah but if you have just defeated the last person in the round, it would still be cool if he still stood and the announcer would say Finish Him! and you could do some awesome combo like stick your weapon through his chest.
Don't know how that would work with the warhammer though...

IMHO Fatalities would require more animation than theyre worth. it just needs more Blood on death!!!
