Also Red Faction had a Rail Gun that could shot through walls with a "heat vision" x2 scope. On their weapon, the scope view faded out with distance after say 1000 ft or so you could not see anything. It held only 5 rail bolts and took about 1.5 to reload. Still once sweet weapon.

I have a weapon. I have no name for it yet but it basically charges the ammo up like the AWO of the crossbow and the fires them. the ammo is: small chainsaws, and knives. the small chainsaws start to chew into the flesh for a couple seconds, making small amounts of damage. it does the same with vehicles. if it misses then it shatters into a lot of small and very hot pieces. however the pieces do not go farther than when the cutter shatters. in fact, a bit smaller. the knives are good for sniping. they are affected by gravity but only a little bit. on vehicles the knives do like only 1 damage. secondary is zoom. chainsaws do not go as far as knives. in fact they go half the distance so nobody starts sniping with the saws. also you could put in a gag ammo like rats. a rat could steal someone's shield and ammo if it hits someone but then someone has to catch it in order to get the ammo and shield. they use the same AI as proxy's except when someone is approaching it does the opposite of what a blue proxy does to a red teammate. it runs like hell! and in order to make it worth it a rat could steal all the ammo of the gun someone is using and a few shield points. meaning if a rat steals your vortex and someone catches it then you will have to wait for another vortex.

ok now ive got a beter idea....you know the gravity vortex well make an awo so you can place and detonate it when YOU want :twisted: (plasma) so your safly out of the area (and a fun factor you can roll it around with a link gun so you can roll the sphere away from you or your base making it detonate in a diff locall so insted of having somthing like this.. (redeemer) you have ths (grab). or if you REALY wana spice things up make it so you can guide the sphere wile it rols on the ground and you can det it when you want (i can just see a grav sphere chasing a guy around and hes runing for his life literaly (you can det it by soting it but why would you wana kill yourself).for the other ammo tipe you could have a verry large burst that sucks things ibn realy fast but it lasts like 0.3 of the normal time or you could have a verry tiny burst, its got a longer grav pul but you can avoid it completly by using a grav belt and it wont pull tanks in. so the first one is anti-tank the second one is normal and the last one is anti-infantry (give it a go if you dont like it dont use it).

i dont think a superwep needs extra ammo types...

the point about the vortex is that you have to run like hell or else you shall be killed by it...and i dont think anyone would drop a good ole vortex when they can knock it into the enemy base from a safe disntace and detonate it when the FC is passing by

Double Claws that mimic the Dagger Animations like the Bastard Sword and Templar mimic each other. Claws and be bigger then Daggers but do less damage.

my idea is a halberd,pike or a polearm

the thing is that people wish thoose,but they would unbalance duel with theyre range...so whats the solution,,,ofcourse..add them to guncombat,with the extra range they have the edge against guns that is required

A smoke Gernade, or Smoke Mug Ammo would be EXCELLENT for CCTF. It would really help the team aspect of it..to cover your buddy with the flag (The MUG moreso then the GL)
