Since i installed Chaos UT m bot #'s have increased to the point that...i cant take them all off...its at least 100 on each team O.o
Help =(

And where are the swords at?

Swords only appear in some of the chaos gametypes.

Are you running any other mutators that modify or manage the bots? Any Admin tools or the like?

I have had this problem too Jedi. I thought it was just my development install guess i was wrong.

Also, is this a server or offline bot management? If server are you managing via webadmin or admin commands ingame?

Loq, this bug was, should have been, fixed in 3.01. Are you sure you're on current code atm?

The other bot issue we still had in 3.01 was where some folks were getting doubles of all the bots in the bot menus (not actually increasing bot numbers in-game though, just doubles to pick from).

Or so we thought. Course if Loq's been sitting on bugs in dev and not sharing them with us till it shows up in a public thread, than he's gonna wish hurricane charely was the last one comin his way... :wink:

Actually this 'bug' seemed to first appear in 3.01. At least if its the one I mentioned where sometimes the Minimum Player number writes to itself a few numbers higher. And when you kick them, new ones spawn right after unless you change the minimum players manually. Then a round later they join again. This is 4 man duel only, and I get the point of 'filling' the round with bots to make the total = 4, but it should be able to disable the fill. At least thats what his problem sounds like.

Which gametypes do the swords come into?

duel, koth, chaosdm, chaosctf and teamkoth all have melee capability depending on how you set them up (the DM version has a melee only option in the game settings, and duel has a melee option as well, while the others allow you to start with a melee weapon if you enable it in the mutator setup)

launch UT2004
Go to community menu
active the CUT mod
then go into instant action/join game
and choose one of the CUT gametypes,like CCTF,Duel,KOTH,Team koth,Chaos DM
