Not yet, I need to reinstall Windows since I tried to install Linux on the same computer and it tried to format my partition.I lost everything on it.
anyway I needed to format but I would have like to save some files... Well I gues thats what happend when your going to fast ..
As I stated before, I am having problems with the screen going orange after and explosion of relic of vengance when playing lan game and only when we press respawn button before the explosion disapates.
That being said, I really like the explosion affect and hope you don't remove it. I know it can lag the game if several of these go off at same time. Instead of removing it altogether, why not just have only one relic of vengance on one map at a time.
Regarding my problem, I don't have my screen go orange as long as I don't respawn right away after dying. Maybe I'll see if UT2004 has a respawn delay setting. I've never actually looked. I'd rather live with this issue though than have the relic of vengance change to the spirits you are talking about. However, I do like the idea that you are going to make the redeemer have the relic of vengance explosion effect. I think that would be cool. I always thought the redeemer didn't have a very good explosion effect.
CommanderCloud wrote:Just got to thinking. This may be a timing error. One workaround would be to have the relic die when the player carrying it dies. Then have it timed to spawn the relic elsewhere about 10secs later. Might ease up things alittle an not have quite so many relics out at the same time or as close to each other to cause overlap. Just a thought

I like that Idea... It's a shame that Webster just pawn...In game of life.
I'm having a HTTP redirect problem. Maps and textures download fine from the redirect but I cannot get the server to download the compressed sound files (ChaosESound*.aux). Our server is multi-homed so we are not using standad ut2004.ini file. Here is an excerpt from .ini file:

TBH I am not so sure on the right course of action here. Furry or Face, and ideas since your server guys?

Hmmm. I have to use a public redirect so I'm not really up to speed on it. That being said I can't think of anything obvious. A redirect doesn't have a directory structure. All the files are stored in the same place on a web server.
If the file won't download I would check the filename to make sure the name and extension doesn't have a typo. If that isn't the problem you may want to recompress the file to make sure it isn't corrupt. It may help to have the part of the redirect server http log where the file DL fails. I hope this helps.
