Sound Problem with Chaos
Sound Problem with Chaos
When i run chaos 3.5 it doesnt give any sound. Everything works on normal UT and i couldnt find any wrong setting. Strange thing is that the sound worked earlier, even on 3.5. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Hmm strange.
Did you update your sound drivers or anything?
Also:
Try moving your ChaosUT2.ini out of the UT2004\ChaosUT2\System folder (just place it somewhere else like desktop.. doesnt matter where as long as its not in the UT2004 folder tree). Start up chaos and if you get sound, then its an ini file problem. If thats the case your best bet is to go in and manually re-do all your settings instead of searching through the ini file for the problem (ive found it takes less time, since you will start out with whatever your stuff is for normal UT2004 and then build up from there).
If that doesnt work, try it with the ChaosUT2user.ini
If that doesnt work... uhh.... ill get back to you on that.
