WEll my personal their to the "bull" is that if you stand around long enough right inside the sword. 1 hit counts as 20 hits. And that happens with any weapon.
This occurs with most weapons trough,
1. bad luck
or
2. Extreme skillz0rs on the part of the attacker.
If I wanted to change a weapon's animations, I would say it would be the Hammer. The Katana's fine, although I think the heavy stance animations should go to light stance, light goes to medium, and medium goes to heavy.
To this very day I still can't fine a use or a need for the Heavy stance of the war hammer. I got a freak headshot after the first animation but the whole thing seems to be a waste over all.
Oh, I just remembered Phantasma, your kill while I was at full health + shields was a TELEFRAG. Not a melee kill. But it happens WAAAYYY too often in melee DM though...
Oh and btw, I can use the heavy hammer no problem...
WEll not well, but after a bit more practice, maybe.
Some day I am going to turn Pep loose on you all to get all of the melee feedback we can, and see what shakes out. Then base any changes we do off this feedback...
I got to fight pep once and he left soon after that never to be seen again, damn that head shot....Or maybe that was another guy running aroudn with his name, he was using the knight skin.

Ehm , I didnt leave cause I got hit , I left because I hate duel If I recall the reason I was in that server , was cause someone had reported a bug on it . . .

and a cool taunt where you plunge the katana into ur stomach and u add some animnotifies to do the blood and the soundfx

Hmmmmm well i have been moaning about this since i used kat (which was 5 mins after i started the game for the 1st time) that when u jump forwards, push forward and attack with heavy kat u get the most usless move eva! doing a little forward flip attack looks cool but 1) it takes too long 2) u cant defend urself in that state 3) the dmg part of the move is almost when the animation its finished 4) it does crap dmg for the risks u take to do it 5) i accidently do the move and it gets me killed too many times 6) i can think of much simpler air attack the kat could do that might be useful.
Mabe the move could be changed to aiming ur kat down slightly and using ur momentum of ur forward jump/dodge and implaling ur enemy. like the bs lunge cept this would be in the air and u would have the kat pointed downward and it wouldnt be a move that u do by acident and it doesnt get u fataly hit and it doesnt suck
Sorry i feel v strongly about this and kat is my main choice of weapon so i hope u take on that idea and kill that move, thank you for reading my babling moanyness
