Yes, the venge death screams are still in. Species-based of course. You get the "DIEE!" sound if you are a human male. As for vehicles, that makes sense. Though perhaps, you should only get skulls powerful enough to destroy vehicles if you are in a vehicle with venge when you die.
Or we could have skulls driving mantas... Erm, no...

I think the skulls should damage the player inside the vehicle instead of the vehicle itself.
Player health doesn't seem to take enough damage while on the hoverboard. The board itself takes a lot of that damage.
Physics should also be redone when on the hoverboard because I end up cooking myself with the MUG whenever I use it while moving, which is not cool.

There's a reason they don't mount flamethrowers on combat ATV's...
Though, the new flamethrower may not have that problem to a degree, since the liquid takes on the player's velocity when fired, but if you dont turn right away after firing it, the liquid will quickly come back at you due to air viscosity. Or at least it should. We have a velocity loss equation in the code that should simulate that. Guess I'll need to test that.

the evil vengence skulls should have some cool animation like they touch you and it switches to 3rd person then the skull goes through you and you die, as the skull vanishes away with your soul!
Mwahahahahahahahaha

i would be personally against that, would be quite a bit annoying having to wait for it to finish and being unable to spawnDrone-Fragger wrote:the evil vengence skulls should have some cool animation like they touch you and it switches to 3rd person then the skull goes through you and you die, as the skull vanishes away with your soul!

I was thinking along the same lines!jb wrote:No, but he is right. We did want to have some sort of effect when the spirt hits you. Maybe something like what happened to the people in the Final Fantasy Spirts Within movie, when the spirts touched them?

I think there should also be an effect before the skulls appear. I was thinking of a sort of spirit summoning thing. On the spot where the relic-holder dies, the "spirit" of the relic holder would float there and summon the spirits. The player's "spirit" would throw up his arms while the skulls burst out of his body and he explodes. Yay.
And how about an option to control Vengeance spirits? You could fly one of them like a redeemer, with the others following you.

i was also think about the final fantasy one but i didn't think it would be possible so i didn't bother saying it.
The fact that yopu have to wait to spawn is like a curse, causing you to sit there for 5 seconds to watch your own death.
and as Mr. crow says:
"Lost is your soul!"

Yeah, you only have a hundred, plus any extra health or armour you might have picked up. It's not like 100 is the absolute max you can ever have with nothing on top of that.Rythmix wrote:
Lol once again, the only person who think 60 is too much.. people are asking for more. Keep in mind guys, you only have 100 health, if 2 skulls hit ya, you may as well have been exploded by the old version. 60 seems like the highest edge of reasonable damage IMO.
And does the relic still scream "DIIIIIIEEEE!" cuz if not, im uninstalling chaos forever.
In short, a relic could still kill a fully armoured/healed player. These can not. The choice is clear which one is better (to me anyway.)

the relic is SUPPPOSED to let the victims have a chance for survival, but make them pay for it if they do.
They either have to kill the skulls, or be able to dodge them, or have enough shields and health to avoid the damage. Still, if you get caught by all 4 of the skulls, that 240 damage, which will take down just about anyone who isnt perma camping the 50/100 shields and keg of health (especially assuming you were fighting them before you died)
