From my experience playing with them, they seem to do enough damage. Enough that I will consistently pick up the vengeance relic if I see it. In a good game, not everyone will have a shield or extra health. Plus, if you're any good, you'll have already hurt the person who killed you when you die, and the spirits will finish em off. It's only a problem if one player ends up getting health and shields and can take you out without taking any damage in the process.

Nem,
this one was hard for use to do. 1/2 of the team was dead set against it. The other 1/2 for it. Then others were not happy with the damage in the "blast" version so we went round and round and round....
In the end we knew that we could not win with this so just picked somthing that was a bit fresh compared to a big bomb (as we have the kamizee already).....
