Melee Invasion???

I'm a little confused...

I just reinstalled UT2004 and misplaced my previous ChaosUT umod so downloaded and installed it.

I remember playing a Chaos Invasion gametype - Maybe it was called "Horde"? It was all melee and you fought skeletons that also had melee weapons.

What happened to this? Or am I losing my mind?

dunno what youre talking about,there was some news/screens about one in development,and the next patch will have HH,something like that...but no current release has had that

You would only have been able to play that gametype if you were a beta tester within the last year or so. In any case, we should have a releasable version done at some point in the near future.

Where did you get your previous Umod from? I thought only Beta testers got that...

There has also been stuff "hidden" in our Public Releases that could have had code in it. It would only take an edit to the UCL file to bring it out if you knew about it. I just dont remember......

Well, damn I miss it already then - it was a LOT of fun. You guys usually have plenty of mirrors up - I'm pretty sure that I downloaded it via the ChaosUT website. I rarely go to filemirrors or somesuch unless I'm forced towards fileplanet ;)

Didn't edit anything - have zero mod coding skills.
