1.Great graphix
2.Nice gameplay
3.Facial animations

Bad
1.Poop for multiplayer
2.So-So story
3.Ai could be better

so my rating would be..8.9

Saying CS source is poop is very biased and untrue considering CS is still the Most played online multiplayer game around. Plus its only a matter of time until a plethora of mods pop out of the woodwork to fill the gaps.

what? the story is VERY well written and engaging. The throwbacks and references to HL1 and Blue shift are also Very cool.

The AI is Pretty Tight if you ask me. On the normal setting they can put up a decent fight , and they do a pretty good job at Maintaining cover no matter how much you use the kickarse physics engine to Rearrange the playing field.

2.The story isnt paced as good as it could be
3.Allies get stuck in doors for example

Biased? Of course. But untrue? It's his opinion, and saying it's untrue happens to be an opinion as well

Just because a lot of people think it's good does not mean everyone does, although a lot of people hate it simply because it's well-liked.

As ever, mods should solve everything. Does HL2 come with mod tools?

it released its SDK iirc some time before the release,so i guess yes...I hope someone will soon replace the POS MP part of it(okay..it may be a BIT biased)

Well however you look at it . love or hate , you certainly must acknowledge that it (HL2) is going to definately be a power player in the realm of games for a good time to come.

It is propably gonna be a power player in the !FPS SECTION! for some time,i agree...for it is the newest,most powerfull moddable game with a good engine up-to-date,Until stalker or a UE3 shooter comes out it will certainly hold a high spot

Stalker didnt look too hot to me. and a UE3 anything wont be out for a good chunk of time.

Stalker will be a single player cannnon ATLEAST...as its most popular feature is the AI,the beast's will hunt in packs,stalk you,and when you are weak or not looking theyre way,on youre head they go

AI is 20% of the gameplay,sooooo
