So with the new year...what would you like to see out of Chaos this year???
I hope we can get on a better track record with releases. I would like to see a release almost every other month, that is assuming ideal conditions. What about you folks?

Actually, don't go overboard with the sex please... That's not good when playing in front of your family.
But anyway, more melee oriented maps, melee oritented pickups, sword extensions anyone?
Better melee AI, more fun stuff for everything else... Like proxy jetpacks... XD
Make the game more polished please. Some maps could be fixed to look nicer, Henge comes to mind...
Make the gamespeed part of the settings/voteable.
Allow crossbow duels
Implement flails as melee weapons.

if by flails you mean the jointed or chain based variety thats a no no due to engine limitations I believe.

Pepito is correct. IIRC we had a conversation at one time about this and none of us had any idea on how to implement this.
Next PR release date: 2 weeks

Blasted! Isn't jointed and the chain based varity the same thing? Just make the area btwn the joints small...
Well I'm much sadden. But as long as there are other melee stuff... I'm ok!

The point is neither jointed/chain based can be because the weapons cannot have free-moving parts.

you could simulate the effect with just some animations...no need for it to be dynamice.

The animations could and would work but the ammount of time and effort put into making that illusion would far outway its worth. It might also do something screwy with the bone tracing. On second thought prolly not. I dont know.... Could work, but thats aloooooooot of work for one weapon.
