Ok what this game needs is some voice activation things. Like for instance it can use some spell commands, like lets say fire blast, and it does damage. Or root and it grasps the player to its location for a amount of time. Also can be used for like lets say kick, or some other fighting move. That would add a much more fun feel to the game

also really this could be just another type of game play, you could like restrict it to a fighitng weapon / like the crowsbow. Also here could be a list of commands

Fighting
1. Kick
2. Round Kick
3. Bash
4. Spin (ground/on feet)
5. Head butt

Spells
1. Root
2. Fire Blast
3. Area Damage
4. Damage over time
5. Levitate

Voice regignition.... I think that will defintly be a no lol. Tons of work for simple effects. Not everyone will speek the same...

first of all accent would mess it up
atleast 30% of the community would be at disadvantage
most likely it would only recognise about 2 out of a 1000

the 30% are the peeps without microphones like me


and wouldnt it be annoying to have people shout "HEAD BUTT!" into the microphone every 4 seconds :lol:

well ok this is how it works, u can set it in like imput controls. Also it could be a mutator. Lets say u dont have one, ok then dont play that type. Also its like 3bucks for one if u cant afford. No cause if u seen the flame thrower, that would be crazy, yelling out flame assault or something and then that comes out shooting someone.

It's a neat idea (I've never seen any other mod use the headset in such a way), but it's utterly unworkable, IMO.

One thing to consider is game balance. How are you going to balance these voice command attacks with the current weapons? What's to stop someone from yelling "flame assault" into the microphone the whole time?

How are you going to account for different accents or languages? What about those without headsets? I've never seen a headset that cost only 3 bucks.

i have,it was used AND it had about 50% of it missing(mic and one of thoose ear thingys)

it is a smart idea if u can record it in settings. No cause imagine lol, in next version using the unreal 3 engine, they need to give weapons and a thing attacked to body and then u like use the two daggers to attack lol
