Anyone else addicted to this game?

Post the servers you play on and the names/class/race/level of your characters.

On Azjul-Nerub:
Nummerzwei, lvl 25 Male Gnome Warrior (my main character)
Pravymartle, lvl 6 Male Undead Warrior

On Eldre'Thalas:
Nancy, lvl 4 Male Orc Rogue (I had to get the name when the server started)

Yeah, I know, I think she's on Magtheridon or something like that. If you haven't played it, if you ever have the chance to you should try it, it plays very little like the generic MMO formula.

Why?

You heard that Meatloaff said, it's just the generic MMO with the genric fantasy story.

If you want a game with cool items, go with Diablo 2. An RPG with good story, go with KOTOR, a cool MMO, go with City of Heroes.

WoW is just the generic thing done right.

I said that it plays very little like a generic MMO. It's a very in depth game and if you bother to play it past level 20 various plots interweave and develop greater storylines based around the whole Warcraft mythos. While I do admit that it doesn't seem to have as in depth of a plot(s) as, say, KOTOR, it's not that bad. The PvP aspect of the game with the warring factions makes for interesting gameplay, and as before, if you bother to play past level 20 the items start getting "cool" and the trade professions start becoming actually interesting. Having played a fair amount of MMOs before I'd have to say that WoW is one of the least generic MMOs out there. It's probably the most worth the monthly payment, that's for sure. The only problems I have with the game are the limited amount of player customizations you can do at character creation, and the problems with the servers.

If you want a generic MMO, look at Everquest.

PS: After a while Diablo just becomes a boring click fest. Clickclickclick! :P

including a MMORPG into chaos might bump the size up a bit too much, but its a start!

Well, you know, UE3 has the ability for a never ending world as one of it's new features like in a MMORPG so you never know....

BTW:

Only problem I would think of would be how laggy a server with 1000's of people on it would be on the UE3, I'd like to see the networking specs for the engine...
