Ok was not sure just wanted to make note of it. We try to remember all of the fixes so when the next user with a problem comes along we know what the fixes are. Again glad you got it...and see you almost missed out...
oh, a question - on horderhunters, how many rounds are there? because after round 5 (when i've killed all the monsters) nothing happens, i just go around slaying all my computer allies. (allthough that is fun, i'm just wondering).
one time i think time ran out on that round and it went to round 6, but nothing happened again, so i slew my computer friends abit more...
i think it was 12(or was it 16....long time since i played INV)
the waves didnt switch becouse a monster got stuck, make sure all monsters get killed(like in DM-infernal,where time to time a monster gets knocked onto a ledge that doesnt have pathfinding, making bots unable to get there and monsters to get off)
ah i guess that would explain it, as i was on that level "morpheous3" or something (the one with the 12 mile high buildings). and i was kicking everything off the map (very fun ) something must have gotten stuck somewhere.

by the way, is one of these "proxy" things i keep reading about in the forums one of those little smiley faces that jump around and usually kill me? i think they come out of that weapon called the claw 2.
(edit) sorry for double posting, i got confused and messed up
Yes,proxy's are the chatty yellow smileys in a armor that are shot out of the claw...the only weapon for UT2k4 ever created that can sing songs(i think)
Y'know, I think they might be, even if they aren't necessarily the first musical weapon in FPS history...
Did any of you ever play Battlezone, especially the demo version? 'Cause all this musicality brings to mind the "disco gun" that fired coloured shells to the beat of "no limits". Damn that was funny
Battle zone was great. Pity it won't run on my current computer.
As far as I know that gun only apeared in the first mission, just lying around the base unconspicuously. Great things happen when game designers have too much time on their hands.
However, proxies are better
Reality is that part of imagination we all agree on.

Jimmy, no offence, but how could you not know about proxies? Chaos REVOLVES around the proxy (EG: look at the top of this page)!!!

Hehe, you're welcome.
That manifest.ini issue is an old one, though we don't see it very often. Glad I was able to help. Enjoy.
(BTW - just for future reference in case you see this again, you probably could have simply changed the one line in your maniftest that I mentioned, and been up and running right away.)
Be sure to try some VCTF or ONS - large scale combat with vehicle support is the future of gaming, hope to see you there.
hmm, i've been on your sites looking for some active servers. yeah i've found the ip addresses and that on the site but where do you actually enter them in unreal? i've tried just adding a favorite from the normal list then replacing the ip with a chaos one, but that doesn't work.
i found a chaos server once, and it wasn't on the site. it's a duel one, but rarely has anyone on it. i went on for awhile once and someone joined asking if i was a human player (which i was, obviously) and he said he'd be searching for ages. i told him to visit the site etc.
