With city-wide wireless highspeed access and a PSP that has IRC enabled, you got a neat little toy there.

Yes Pep, but that misses the point entirely.
One is a wireless internet device, the other is essentially a kids walkie-talkie (and with a 65' limit - not a very good one either).
You might as well strap a keyboard on your dogs butt, and then say it has a better typing interface - because that's about as useful as the DS.
Or maybe that donkey-pulled PC cart in India.

I've played games and text-chatted on a cellphone as well. Same deal, both neat toys.
I don't care what it's called .... PSP, cellphone, communicator, whatever - I just want one device to do it all wirelessly at highspeed, and it should look good, have a nice screen, come in lots of colors, and fit nicely in my pocket.

BU on the PSP.
Again, I don't give a rat's butt about Sony or DS, or which console maker has the best games or any of that stuff.
The whole point is that this is one step closer to a Star Trek-type mobile device that allows one to game/chat/browse/whatever - and that fits in your pocket and connects to high-speed internet from just about anywhere.
