 I really need to pay more attention at when I write.

Anyway, the bad things in my opinion about the demo where sofar:
-Vehicles give to less advantage: If you know how to dodge a vehicle, it is easy. Furthermore, the machineguns are not helpful. They shoot very unaimed and I often find myself hopping off using my Bulldog because it is more effective. Also turning in the levels is not as easy as I would like it to be. When you have to stop to turn around because the place is to small to turn around driving forward it makes you a sitting duck.
-Weapons don't match with the speed of the gameplay. For example I find the sniper moves to slow. I also don't like the plasma rifle very much, it fires a bit to slow and the secondary weapon of the plasmagun is not of much use (upgrade the weapon and hold the right mousebutton pressed).

Something where I am not sure of if it is good in the end or not are the objectives who have moved. The gametype objectives are secondary now, primary is getting ASAP powercores. The good thing about it is that killing as much as possible is now a requirement and that it does effect if one team/person is better then the other. A bad thing that maybe could surface is that it will get boring in the end to constantly aquire powercores.

I do like the game better then when I started this topic so I guess I'll adjust it a little bit.

My main complaints are weapon balance,Vehicles and base settings

Weapon balance:the only somewhat usefull weapons are sniper, grenade launcher, rocket launcher and plasma rifle...none uses the other ones

Vehicles:Theyre weak and puny...useless

base settings:no dodging,70 FOV,capped FPS,no bots,mouse smoothing(and all thoose can be changed via in''s)

Movement:Jumping is a bit too floaty

I'm having a lot of fun with this game.

The vehicles just take practice, they are not useless at all. I had some games of TDM online tonight and got a lot of frags with them. Once you can drive them well, you can spot folks and them chase them and run 'em down if you don't shoot them first.

Esp that bike, love that bike. Once you get the hang of it, you can get around the levels really well. And I mean quickly, fishtailing around corners and stuff.

The TDM map works pretty well too. Folks hiding in the rocks and sniping anyone who went on bridge.., teams trying to control and camp the ammo buildings, even had folks stopping to pick me up as gunner in their vehicle and stuff. Not bad at all.

Example tweaks I have found that helped me like the game more were getting rid of weapon bob, putting fov at 90, and putting my handbrake on my jump key. If you edit your profilename.ini and them make it read only when you're done, you changes will stay.

And there will probably be many more options available with full game.

Anyway - I think you just have to get to know the game, it's actually pretty cool.

Okay, just did couple more hours of TDM, on a server called Pure Chaos. Had a lot of fun, with some cool folks (and some dweebs of course).

I'll probably play tomorrow night there too, if it's still there. Anybody who wants to give the game some more time, come on out.

Once you can drive that bike well, it's rather addictive.

90?!?! How about 120!!! Thas how I like it.

Anyway, my thoughts were this: The weapons all sucked. Totally unbalanced and I personally think just about every one is underpowered. Especially the frag rifle. It's totally underpowered. The vehicles were a bit to get used to, but were actually really nice once you got to know them. The healing-thingamagig was cool too, especially that cool blurry effect you get when you take a big dose. I love cool effects like that. Adds a real cinematic feel to the game. I really hope they fix the weapons balancing, to me that would really bring it up to par with the other good games out now.

So yeah, what can I say? I like my guns. And I like my guns good. I mean, my screen name is Steyr for goodness sakes. :P
I can assure you that I am perfectly sane.

And so is Steyr.

So stop yelling at me or I'll eat your face.

It's funny you should say that.., just tonight I played for a couple hours at least, and most of the games I played tonight were as Riflemen I think it's called (frag rifle and sniper rifle). I did Ok, won some and lost some.

Get it upgraded, and keep it loaded, and it's not bad at all, I like it a lot. Getting better with it all the time.

This next one was probably one of the best I've had yet, as far as fun and doing 'ok'. I was using frag rifle as primary weapon here too.

We lost, but it was fairly close. Even out those couple names listed at the bottom of each team, and it doesn't get much closer.

I prefer the class wich has a Bulldog and the grenade launcher. I can use them the most effective. It's btw cool that everyone seems to have it's own fav. and use them good as well. An other good thing is that people are starting to get better at this.
