COMPUTER SHUTS DOWN AFTER 20-30 MINUTES OF PLAYING UNREAL

Post by Death-Shrine »

I HAVE AN ANNOYING PROBLEM AND DIDNT KNOW WHO ELSE TO TURN TO!!! 8O

My computer gives me around 20-30 minutes of playing unreal before completely shutting down, when it does this i have to unplug at the mains, plug it back in and switch it on and then it runs fine with everything I do except when it comes to playing unreal, I've tried reinstallin it, turning the graphics right down, and even creating more room in my System and Games Drives, but nothing. I'm only 15 and don't have a clue! HELP ME PLEASE!! 8O 8O

well,i think your cooling might be a bit overtaxed

are you overclocking?
i suggest you find a program to show you how hot your CPU and GPU are,as thoose are the most likely things that make that happen
Does it happen in other games
Have you tried other Uengine games,or does it only happen in UT2004,or Chaos

It could be a driver problem. I had a similar problem but it went when I updated my driver...
