Bad Framerate

I recently downloaded the Chaos mod, and it's great so far. The thing is that, I can play regular UT2k4 just fine on 0124x768 or whatever, but I've been finding that there's some horrendously bad framerate choppyness/slowdown whenever it gets the least bit intense (Such as spinning around in circles with the MUG). Anybody know what's what?

The loss of the FPS was due to the method we used for the mug. We have since been working to address that FPS issue. We have a version thats much better on the frame rate with only a slight loss in the IQ. The some of the other effets that were FPS heavy were trimed up a bit as well.. These will be in the next version..

Ahh, so it wasn't me. Whew. To think about it, the MUG thing was just an example. I remember experienceing some major slowdown in Hoarde mode too.
