Crash On Death

When ever I, or the opponient dies in Duel, the game crashes with this error message.


UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 2535 MHz with 1022MB RAM

highwing,

sorry for your trouble. Are you running any other mutators? And can is see the chaosut2.log file so we can help you (the log file is in the ut004\chaosut2\system folder). Thanks!

Actually, I do have a Gib mod on. That may be the problem.

Could be as something is conflicing with the standard deathmessages:

ChaosDuelDeathMessage None (Function ChaosGames.ChaosDuelDeathMessage.ClientReceive:0000


Try it with out that mut and see if it helps... And then let us know!

I turned off the mod, all of them, and it still crashed. Do you want me to send you my log? I assume it's in on of the system folders in the UT2K4 directory.

I'm having the same problem as this guy though it happens to me when I die, the next time it occurs to me I'll post the log.

This is a known issue with the 3369 patch.

Okay here it is. It was my second death and I had won a couple of times. I was using two mutators called Chutes and Slaughter. (Though according to the other guy the mutators don’t matter.) I was using a custom skin and a katana. (Though again the weapon choice doesn’t seem to matter as it has happened while I was using the templar as well.)

This pretty much say's it all,it's being worked on.Meanwhile if you want to play Duel you will have to go back to the previos Epic patch :(Download UT 2004 Patch 3355 for Windows) )
