Thanks, this is true in all UT2k3 servers I've played, but think about this:
In Invasion, if I toss the Vtec and there are alot of monster shots in the air, any player sucked into the Vtec doesn't get killed by the Vtec itself. All the monster shots in the air are sucked into that swirling tornado of crap with the players and eventually collide with players. Result? SPLAT!!!
I tell you, about 80% of the invasion players I play with can't STAND the Vortec. Personally, I give 3 warnings to those playing and then toss. I can usually rack up some major points on higher levels with Queens and Titans present.

lol thats awsome. was it dh that lauched the vortex or was he just an ulucky dude that got in the way.

If someone could use the vortex in a way that it would pull the bombs toward a levi, it would make any vehicle dead meat in the hands of 1 or 2 skilled players with the target painter and vortex. That is perhaps the best way of destroying a Levi with a small number of players without adding in another vehicle killer only weapon. Tha would be evil. That could destroy a Core possibly.

thats being fixed . . . what made it strong, was an exploit that also let ya kill a Levi in one hit. we cant have that now can we?

Its a big bad funny bug.
The Cutter Secondary kills the Levi and Raptor with one hit, Kinda funny really.

I say keep it and call it a feature. That sounds hilarious to have a team that is packing their big bad Levi and then seeing it get blown away by a single CUTTER secondary. I can imagine the the comm after that.

But I was overrulled

nono. the cutter bug is one of those fun features that totally ruin gameplay, like the Driving proxy bug. its fun when youre doing the driving , but not when youre getting run over by someone who isnt risking anything.

Bah, IMO the Levi is one of those fun gimmicks that completely ruins gameplay.
Our Cutter would balance it out
