And we did release PRv1.00 on time. Our goal was to get it in the MSU Phase 1 contest and we did. And as you see above, we submitted for Phase 2.

Too many times we've seen games and mods that were released before completion, just to make an industry-imposed deadline. This is no different. Rather than commit a "Battlecruiser", we've decided not to release PR2 until it's good and ready. After all, there is nothing worse than downloading a new version of your favorite mod only to find out that it's almost totally unplayable due to bugs, poor documentation, holes in the interface, or missing features.

When you finally do get to play ChaosUT2 PR2, I guarantee you'll be able to enjoy it in all it's fullness and completeness and won't have to worry about that big nasty bug lurking around the corner (unless it's your opponent, that is...)

Hey, I'm glad you guys are taking your time to make sure the next version of Chaos runs like a dream. You're honest, and that's extremely rare nowadays among professional game developers and mod teams.

Well we wanted to get it better. We all know that we can never have a prefect build. but the build we had still needed some tweaking...still had some bugs. Our main modeler got back and stayed up till 4AM last night to add in the blocking animations so now we are much closer. In fact a new IR went up a just a few moments ago. So baring any last minutes bugs...soon

hey show us a shot of the blocking and stuff... oh in the mean time someone download this melee hand - to - hand combat mod by the name of http://ascensiongames.com/muralis.html and make a server online! I want to check it out!. (I can't play offline because there is no support for bots )

heh. Seems kinda bold to ask someone to host a mod , on another mod's Forum... Especially when both mods share a simmillar aspect.

then again , I cant count how many mods have failed or are in the process of failing due to lack of server support...

I support the mod community as a whole. I don't have anything against other mods just because they aren't chaos. Personally, my favorite mod is Chaos. Playing other mods isn't going to change that.

I'm a big mod fan - I download just about everything out there

Ok....Back to the Topic ( sorry to be the party pooper). I uploaded Release Candidate 1 of One of my player models last night. Just have to play with the rigging of the model a bit more. The leggs are not deforming the way i want them to yet. Should be redy by the end of the week.

on a side note......Glad im still alive with all the plotting on me
